Mattia Trotta
Savona 24 January 1980, Italian sculptor, since 2013 he works in Valle Camonica, in the village of Bienno, province of Brescia.
After a first cycle of technical studies always accompanied by his passion for musical experimentation, in 2002 he meets the world of plastic arts which he immediately recognizes and embraces as the only appropriate mean to translate his personal research.
It is the sculpture indeed the place where he is able to combine his knowledge and his technical skillfulness in the field of metals with yearnings and tensions aimed to the existential understanding, searching for direction which in his works often translate into symbolic images with an intimate character.
Some of his works already adorn Italian parks and squares, one of these “Fratelli” commissioned by the Toscany region is installed in the park of Villa Fabbricotti in Florence.
